Organisers of the sixth Australian Bulk Handling Awards have so far secured support from four major players serving the bulk handling sector. This year’s event will be held on the 26th of October at Darling Harbour, Sydney.
Industry players from right around the country will mingle at Doltone House, a prime foreshore location, for the bulk handling industry’s annual celebration of excellence. Peter Delbridge, Australian Bulk Handling Review national sales manager, said “this is wonderful news for the awards and a sound commercial proposition for sponsors. The awards couldn’t happen without the sponsors’ far-sighted support. In turn, the awards gather a supremely focused audience of bulk handlers together.”
On board as sponsors for this year’s awards are ESS Engineering Services, which is sponsoring the Bulk Handling Facility of the Year award, Tenova TAKRAF has backed theBest Practice in OH&S category, Brightwater Engineering Solutions is backing the Innovative Technology award and Integrated Bulk Systems is on board for the Transport and Conveying award.
Matthew Fletcher, general manager of Brightwater said the company “is pleased to announce that it is a major category sponsor for the 2011 Bulk Handling Awards. We see this as a fantastic strategic opportunity for Brightwater, because it is truly aligned with all of our core values, goals and aspirations. It builds on our recent success at the 2010 Bulk Handling Awards, where we were the proud recipients of the Environmental Project of the Year.”
