Madill, A Nicholson Manufacturing Company, announces agreement with Brightwater for the exclusive sale and manufacturing of Madill products in Asia Pacific regions.

Madill, A Nicholson Manufacturing Company, is pleased to announce today that they have formalized an agreement with Brightwater for the exclusive sale, and the rights to manufacture under license, the Madill brand of products for the countries of New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and South Pacific Islands.

Headquartered in Nelson, New Zealand, Brightwater has established over its more than 30 year history an exemplary track record in the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of technologies in support of Australasia’s resource sector.

In commenting on the announcement, Nicholson's President Doug Jeffrey said "We are very pleased to be able to finalize this agreement with Brightwater.  Brightwater’s focus on providing total customer solutions to companies involved in the resource sector lines up perfectly with the commitment of the Madill brand to offer purpose built logging equipment to the worldwide forest industry.  We are also very excited, through our new association with Brightwater, to be able to offer Madill customers in this region, a locally manufactured mobile equipment solution”

Brightwater is excited at the opportunity to add this iconic product to its stable of forestry solutions and looks forward to the delivery of the first 124 swing yarder off the production line later in 2011. Brightwater will begin exclusive representation of the Madill brand for new equipment sales, parts and service effective immediately.
