Brightwater Engineering started in 1969 as a small fabrication shop but have grown to provide bespoke engineering solutions, industrial installation services and maintenance, fabrication and manufactured products to a number of sectors including Quarry, Industrial Energy, Water Treatment, Dairy, Forestry, Coal and Structural upgrades. At Brightwater, we have an innovative, smart yet practical, can do and safe approach. Depending on the role; there is a possibility of overtime, site based and out of town work.

Our Auckland team specialise in undertaking Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Installation & Maintenance for Industrial Clients. Possible job opportunities include Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Industrial Electricians and Apprenticeships (via ETCO).
Gray Brothers Engineering provides mechanical engineering services with expertise in the design, build and construction. Possible job opportunities include Supervisory roles and other Trades roles e.g. Fitter/Turners, Fitter Welders, Heavy Fabricators/Boilermakers, Industrial Painters, Apprenticeships & After school labourers.
Our Head Office is based in Brightwater (20 minutes’ drive south from Nelson) and includes our Project Management & Mechanical Engineering Team as well as a large Mechanical Workshop for Fabrication, Machining and Coatings. We have a satellite workshop at the Nelson Port which undertakes maintenance on commercial vessels.
