We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Boilermaker/Mechanical Fitter to join our Ports and Marine servicing team. You will have a strong background in Marine Maintenance with a suitable Mechanical/Boilermaking trade qualification. You will have the ability to take initiative, work without close supervision and be a good team player. Ability to obtain welding tickets would also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Inspecting and servicing equipment
  • Replacement Plate Work
  • Replacement of Bearings and Seals
  • Engine Maintenance repair
  • Good health and safety practice

You will be passionate about engineering and finding the best solution for our clients. Regular overtime is available and well rewarded.

You must have the relevant immigration status to work in New Zealand and be physically fit with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
