Description

Brightwater is one of New Zealand’s leading engineering providers offering engineering solutions, fabrication and site services to the Aggregates, Minerals, Wood Products, Marine and Dairy sectors across Australasia. We are interested in employing the following skilled tradesmen to join our Trades team in Nelson and Greymouth:

Heavy Fabricator/Pipe Welder

  • Immediate start
  • Permanent employment
  • Competitive hourly rate + penal time + away allowances

We pride ourselves on hiring talented tradesmen with initiative and drive and have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Fabricator to join our team. We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals with good practical skills and an excellent attitude to Health & Safety. You will be able to read and interpret technical drawings, weld in all positions to AS/NZS 1554 and be comfortable working in a workshop or industrial site or marine environment unsupervised. We also have an opportunity for a pipe welder to join the team – you would need to be able to obtain your ASMEIX ticket as well as undertake Dairy Tube Tig Welding.

You must have the relevant immigration status to work in New Zealand and be physically fit with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
