Brightwater is a multi-disciplined engineering company operating across multiple industry sectors throughout New Zealand. We have branches in Nelson, Auckland and Greymouth.

We undertake a variety of challenging and interesting work for our clients, providing a complete range of industrial engineering services from engineering design through to machining, fabrication, blast and paint, electrical & automation and site works.

Fitter / Welder – Nelson

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills

Industrial Electricians – Auckland

Industrial Electricians – Auckland

  • Auckland based but prepared to travel for site based work
  • High Voltage (HV), Industrial Experience preferred
  • NZ registered with current practicing license

Our Electrical team manage the execution of all on-site electrical project work including installation and maintenance. Working on a broad range of activities you will work closely with other in-house project delivery and engineering disciplines including mechanical and civil trades along with Electrical Engineers and project managers. We offer interesting work with long standing key clients and competitive wages with penal rates. The successful candidates will possess skills in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of health and safety
  • New Zealand registered Electrician, with current practicing license
  • 5+ years of Industrial or High Voltage experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve onsite as required
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strength both technically and practically to execute and deliver project, installation and maintenance work to the expectation of all stakeholders
  • Hold a current NZ driver’s license

We are looking for people that excel on a construction/industrial site and understand the dynamics of working within a project/construction team.  You will be physically fit with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
